After taking the red eye from LA to Miami and arriving at 7 am in the morning, I headed straight to Crandon Park, in an attempt to fight off the fatigue that was inevitably going to take over my day. It was all happening on Key Biscane and the new colours of sponsors Itau made the tired Crandon Park complex look almost new. Ray and I arrived in Miami on Saturday and despite the overcast conditions, the temperature is in the mid twenties and it is looking like it is going to be a scorching tournament. Yesterday saw Andy Murray and David Ferrer practicing on Grandstand and they were having a real slugfest. Today is the second day of qualifying and the women’s first round. As well as that there are practice sessions galore, with Nadal, Federer, Murray and most of the other top 10 male and female players on court. We will be covering the day including matches, practice and some of the kids day activities. Check out the site as often as you can to see all the latest action from Miami and to see our coverage of other tournaments so far this year. There are still more to go up onto the site, so keep looking.
